A country style engagement shoot, in the Barossa Valley.

I love a good engagement shoot and this one was great!

I had never met Nicola and Jake in person, all our communication had been on the phone, because although they are from South Australia they had been living in Darwin. I was stoked when they asked me to be their wedding photographer and suggested an engagement shoot. Engagement shoots are a great way to get to know one another. It also helps couples learn how to relax in front of the camera. Its not like these two needed help in front of the camera as they were so natural and relaxed anyway. Their love for one another is so apparent, I spent most of my time smiling too. I just knew the images were going to be great.

The Barossa is such a beautiful place it hard to take a bad photo. That said I think we knocked it out of the park with this beautiful set of engagement images.
