I love a lot of South Australia, there are so many beautiful and varied landscapes, and the area around Myponga is no exception.

I had not heard of Brooklyn farm, but when Emily told me it had been in a movie, called “The boys are back” I knew I would have to check it out. The film really showcases the beautiful area and I tried my hardest to produce something that would do justice to the area, and Emily and Tom’s beautiful wedding day.

Tom had rented a small house with his friends, on top of hill, about 10 minutes from Brooklyn farm. The views were stunning, the home brew coming a close second, and I got to enjoy both 🙂 After spending a bit of time with the boys I made my way down the road, past Myponga beach, to Brooklyn Farm and Emily.

Emily with her family and friends were all hanging out in the lovely homestead, drinking champagne. The homestead had been built specifically for a movie so had great light and some great spaces. Everyone was so relaxed and happy, creating great images was easy. Before long everyone was ready and heading to the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was held in field, with great views and hay bales for seating, such a great idea. The ceremony was full of laughter, with a close friend their celebrant, it was lovely to see the personal connection between the three.

While Emily and Tom’s guest enjoyed some great food and music we created some lovely wedding images. We made our way slowly to the reception, taking photos on the way, arriving to smiles and hugs.

The rest of the night was a blur of laughs, smiles and love.
